Last updated: September 19, 2026

7-Days is a private diary app that needs no account and keeps your entries only on your iPhone. If you run into a problem or have a suggestion, we'd love to hear from you.

You can also open Settings → Send Feedback in the app. It fills in the app version, iOS version, and device model to help us look into the issue — none of your entries are included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my entries stored?

Only on your iPhone. 7-Days has no accounts, no servers, and no cloud sync. Your entries, folders, drafts, and settings are kept in the app's local database, and we have no way to see or access them.

The database is protected by iOS Data Protection: after your iPhone restarts, it stays encrypted until you unlock the device for the first time.

How do I back up my entries?

7-Days data is included in your iPhone's system backups — there's nothing to do in the app:

  • iCloud Backup: turn on Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup on your iPhone.
  • Computer backup: back up your iPhone with a Mac (Finder) or a Windows PC (Apple Devices app / iTunes).

When you move to a new iPhone, restore from one of these backups or use Quick Start, and your entries come along. The app doesn't offer export or cloud sync at this time.

Will deleting the app delete my entries?

Yes. Deleting 7-Days removes all entries, folders, drafts, and settings from your iPhone, and they can't be recovered from within the app.

If you have an earlier iCloud or computer backup that includes 7-Days, you can get your data back by restoring that backup. Please make sure you have a backup before deleting the app.

Can I recover an entry I deleted by mistake?

Yes. Deleted entries go to Settings → Recently Deleted and stay there for 30 days, during which you can restore them at any time. After 30 days they're permanently erased.

I denied location access. Can I still add a place?

Yes. On the Add Location screen you can type a place name yourself. To turn location back on, go to Settings → 7-Days → Location on your iPhone and choose While Using the App.

How do I change the language?

Open Settings → Language. You can follow the system language or choose 简体中文, 繁體中文, English, 日本語, or 한국어. The change takes effect right away.
